Dr. Alzheimer published a treatise about a disease that would one day carry his name. He had two young colleagues who worked with him, Dr. Creutzfeldt and Dr. Jakob, and they too identified a similar brain-wasting disease that now has the world in a panic. The brains of cows turn into a sponge-like mass and their behavior is called "mad." The human variant of Mad Cow Disease has been named Creutzfeldt Jakob Disease, or CJD. Learn more here!

These papers are presented in an historical context and are indicative of the various rants, raves, treatises, etc., that were prevalent in the old BBS (Bulletin Board Service) days. Content has not been changed, though formatting changes may have taken place to make them more presentable. (Spelling, sentence/paragraph structure, etc.) Wherever possible, credit is given to the originating source.
This was a group MEG tried to start when the RMSG web site first began back in '96-97. We may try again in the future, if there is any interest... But for now, this is just nostalgia. It could serve as a foundation for your own attempt.
This page should probably have a much more prominent presence on the site, as it serves to provide a foundation for everything else. Some day we'll get around to making it bigger and better... and easier to find.
