Over the years we have accumulated over 250 GIGABYTES of survival and self reliance data - mostly in pdf format for texts (though there are a good deal of txt and doc items) as well as video. We are constantly searching for new items and adding to our storehouse of knowledge. On this page we list all the various data packages we offer (through Amazon.com).

SSRsi Website Disc: If you have ever wondered just how BIG the SSRsi website really is, this link lists the site disc contents. Each numbered item is a topic page, sub-topic page, or an article. Most of these, when converted to .pdf form, are multiple standard pages in length. Some of them are hundreds - even thousands - of pages in length. As a reference, the topic list alone would be 33 standard pages by itself, if converted to .pdf format... and that's just the website index!

Home Power Generation: If you have seen the "power-4-home" web-ads to reduce your power bills (and all the variants) let me tell you that, while their information is valid, it is incomplete and nowhere near as comprehensive as this SSRsi compilation. OUR set tells you various ways to produce your own components as well as put them together and tie them in to your home electrical system. The manuals in this set date from the early 1800's up to modern times. And we don't charge nearly as much for our package (4 discs 17,417,894,097 bytes) as THEY do (1 disc). Now includes the SSRsi Website!

SSRsi Anti-Recession Disc #1 [Disc #2]: Most of these manuals were written around the first world war through the 1929 depression, a time of industrial growth from an agricultural age to a technological era. (Though many are decidedly more modern) This was a period of time when American innovation and invention shined, when the spirit of self-reliance was not a mere ghost, but a way of living. A time before entire generations were taught to rely on the government whenever they became uncomfortable. While there was war, economic hard times, dust bowls, and the bankers had finally bought enough politicians to own the nation, people were still staunchly AMERICAN in that they wanted to do-it-themselves. Happily, they were also prolific in teaching others - through books and manuals. The tomes they wrote in those days were not generalized, or “dumbed-down” with political correctness. Though there are many processes that, today, have been refined beyond the point of technological ability of the average Citizen, in those days they were inventing the very first processes that worked, and wrote in a specific and correct manner for reproduction of their work by the fellow Citizens. And they contain an astounding amount of detailed information! Not all items will contain as much as this preview of the table of contents for "The Boy Mechanic", but many do - and some contain even more!

SSRsi Military Manuals Discs (3 Disc Set): 1,736 Titles on 3 discs. Every military manual we could lay our hands on and a few survival videos to fill in the gaps. These manuals cover everything from cooking to drilling to health and medical care, combat and non combat skills, engineering and communications and much, much more; The manuals have release dates dating from the 1800's through current military issues.

SSRsi Non-Military Files (38 Disc Set): 11,049 Files - 176,169,559,126 bytes of data! These files cover such a wide range of self-help, self-reliance and survival topics that it almost defies description! Some files are preindustrial, others modern day, others falling somewhere in between. With this set there is enough information to re-start a fallen civilization!

The Whole Shebang - 41 disc Set (Including Website) 13,032 Files - 190,186,654,843 bytes! SSRsi Website, Complete Survival Library (Military & Non Military) & Survival Skills Videos loaded on 41 DVDs. This is the original collection of files and has not been updated to include the items we have collected since first offering data discs. The collection is separated into military and non-military files (above) and each section is presented with the individual titles in alphabetical order.

It is uncategorized, but the files are in alphabetical order (with minor adjustments to create complete 4.36 gigabyte discs). The set is so large that it typically takes 2 days to transfer to discs so, while we will be confirming the sale and delivery within the Amazon 48-72 hour requirement, we have to require up to 5 business days to produce and ship this set (not that it WILL take this long, but if we get multiple orders, it could).
