THE SECOND AMENDMENT

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed."

SSRsi believes it is imperative that a Free Citizenry remain armed if it is to retain its freedom, but we will not enter into direct discussion or debate with those who feel otherwise.

`We believe history has proven our point for us.

Never has a disarmed society been safe from abuse by its so-called protector government. Not an opinion, simply a well rehearsed fact. Mankind appears to be incapable of governing itself benevolently without the constant threat of direct violent intervention for the abuse of power. Even with that threat, it appears that governments are incapable of benevolent administration beyond a certain period of time - approximately 200-300 years. If anything, history has proven that the citizenry - armed and otherwise - are often more benevolent and forgiving of their government's foibles than the governments themselves.

Effectively Communicating With Your Lawmakers As a voting constituent, you have a tremendous ability to influence the outcome of legislation. Ask any elected official which individual's concerns are most important to him, and chances are they all will deliver the same response: his constituents`. All politicians are keenly aware of the fact that it is their constituents who hold the keys to their political futures. Therefore, constituent concerns are of the utmost concern to politicians. The best way you can affect the outcome of legislation is to directly communicate your views to your lawmakers. REMEMBER: Your lawmakers work for you
