Okay, so you're not religious - or maybe you are, but you have a different faith. No problem. But what if you are wrong and they are right? Being prepared does not mean you have to believe... Then again, if it does, what's supposed to happen?

Biblical scholar's date for rapture: May 21, 2011 {I guess we'll all find out, soon...} Harold Camping lets out a hearty chuckle when he considers the people who believe the world will end in 2012. "That date has not one stitch of biblical authority," Camping says from the Oakland office where he runs Family Radio, an evangelical station that reaches listeners around the world. "It's like a fairy tale." The real date for the end of times, he says, is in 2011.

Like A Thief in the Night More and more people are coming to recognize the necessity of survival preparedness, however only a few really understand just why the world seems to be headed for a collision with disaster. Here you will find information on preparedness, but more importantly an explanation of what is coming and why. Not much (yet) on preparation or survival technique, but it appears she is looking for like-minded folks to find her blog and start the conversations. Don't be shy!

Bible Study - The End Of The World? "The end of the world" is a term used by some people for what they believe Bible Prophecy says about the fate of the earth. Such verses as "this Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, as a testimony to all nations; and then the end will come" (Matthew 24:14 RSV), and others like it, are used as supposed examples of the earth's complete destruction, but is that really what's going to happen?

TIME Magazine: The Bible & The Apocalypse What do you watch for, when you are watching the news? Signs that interest rates might be climbing, maybe it's time to refinance. Signs of global warming, maybe forget that new SUV. Signs of new terrorist activity, maybe think twice about that flight to Chicago. Or signs that the world may be coming to an end, and the last battle between good and evil is about to unfold?

A VERICHIP is a tiny, implantable microchip with a unique identification number that connects a patient to his medical records. When America's Food and Drug Administration recently approved it for medical use in humans, the news provoked familiar worries in the press about privacy-threatening technologies. But on the notice boards of raptureready.com, the talk was about a drawback that the FDA and the media seemed to have overlooked. Was the VeriChip the “mark of the beast”?

The Battle of Armageddon Many things today are termed "The Battle of Armageddon," but this phrase specially belongs to the Bible and can only properly be used or understood in its Biblical context...a context which traces the marshalling of all human institutions, be they social, political, financial or religious, in preparation for the last great battle on earth. The Battle of Armageddon provides both the Scriptural and historical background of the "controversy" which the Lord has with the nations of earth. It reviews the record of evil and oppression which leads to the indictment and the sentence to "destruction" of all human institutions not in harmony with the establishment of God's kingdom of truth and righteousness.

Armageddon The Mount of Megiddo is located on the south side of the Plain of Esdraelon, or Plain of Jezreel, running from Haifa to below Nazareth in northern Israel (see map below, and also Bible Places). On the opposite side of the valley can be seen Nazareth, the home town of Jesus Christ until His ministry began, when He moved to Capernaum on the north shore of The Sea Of Galilee.

The Actual Second Coming of Christ One morning, a few days to a few months, at most, after Mecca is destroyed, just as the sun is rising over Jerusalem, the sky suddenly goes black. Then a strange but powerful sound is heard over the entire earth. It is like the sound of a shofar, a Jewish ram's horn trumpet. The Trumpet of God! There has never been a trumpet blast like this one. It is heard everywhere. It shakes the earth and sky. It sends the Beasts and their followers to their knees in terror. It brings the surviving saints to their feet in joy. As it dies away, another sound is heard, this time recognizably a shout. Actually, it is a command, the voice of the Archangel. In an instant, the dead in Christ arise imperishable. In a twinkling of an eye, the surviving saints are transformed. They light up like the sun..

Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will Be Done... This online book has been written a straightforward style which presupposes that the reader will have some basic knowledge of the Bible and of Biblical terms. But the subject of Bible prophecy is actually very complex and detailed. We have therefore added a number of appendices for the serious student, for the pastor, or Bible teacher or individual student who may be seeking guidelines for further study. We deplore the constant flood of sensational "end of the world" prophecy books which only rehash the already familiar, hype up the uncertain news of recent world news, and warm-over old Bible predictions that seem to have never taken place as promised. The test of a prophet in the Old Testament was that all of his predictions must come true 100%, or else he was a false prophet and could be stoned to death. Were this rule applied today, we suspect there would be fewer, but better books dealing the future than now populate our book stores. We do not expect that all our readers will agree with us on all areas, but we hope to stimulate interest in the subject matter which is surely more important now than it has ever been. If the Apostles of the First Century considered the return of Jesus imminent in their time, then how much closer we must now be to that event..

The Apocalypse. Judgment Day. The End of Times. Armageddon. Students of the Bible know it as the place where the cataclysmic battle between the forces of good and the forces of evil will unfold. Many believe that this battle will take place in the very near future, but few know that Armageddon is a real place—one that has seen more fighting and bloodshed than any other spot on earth.

Global Psychics: Prophecy Armageddon or a Second Coming? Are we approaching the biblical "second coming"? Whether in flesh or as through a mass spiritual awakening, most of the prophets seem to agree that, in fact, we are.

REVELATION 9:16 - THE WARRIORS COMETH - ARMEGEDDON I am not a preacher, nor a theologian. I am a seer, a visionary. I'm don't feel that I'm good at analyzing what I see many times because what I see is frequently so symbolic it takes days of study and discussions with other people to figure out the possible meaning of my visions. This time, there can be no doubt of what I saw. Though very strange, there was no doubt to what I was seeing and what it means, though I couch that statement carefully because I do not know the timing of it...

A Bible Revelations Presentation Jerusalem Countdown This Web Site is not intended to provide a daily news cast but rather to highlight the general trends in the news, with views and commentaries which confirm the fulfillment of ancient Prophecies of the Hebrew prophets of the Bible, which they received, 3000 years in advance, by Divine Order from the God of Israel, Creator of the Universe. Consequently, these news items do not really date and are still as relevant to the situation as they were a year or more ago. When items do become irrelevant, they will be removed.

My Fascination With The Pre-Trib Rapture Stay focused. Ever since the early ‘80s, I've maintained a deep fascination with the pre-trib rapture. I don't recall when I first heard of the rapture, but I do know I instantly realized that this event would someday demand the world's attention.

The Pretribulation Rapture The reason of this web site. The rapture is an event that will take place sometime in the near future. Jesus will come in the air, catch up the Church from the earth, and then return to heaven with the Church. The Apostle Paul gave a clear description of the rapture event in his letters to the Thessalonians and Corinthians.

Defending The Pre-Trib Rapture Replies to the attacks

The Dates Setters Diary Failed end-time predictions. One logical question all Christians should ask themselves is: "When is Jesus Christ going to return?" When I read my Bible, I run across words like, "For ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh" (Mat 25:13). I also read, "Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come" (Mat 24:42). I understand that to mean, "You're not going to know until I come for you."

Imminency The heart of pretribulationism. Imminency, as it relates to Bible prophecy, simply means that the return of Jesus Christ for the Church can happen at any moment. No warning signs will indicate a short-term countdown. We as Christians remain on alert 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

What Secret Rapture? Will the unbelievers take notice? Many Christians in the prophetic realm today believe that when the rapture takes place, very few individuals left behind will understand the true reason for its occurrence. The common reasoning portrays the people left behind as being stunned at first, but then quickly developing some sort of amnesia. The idea that no one will pay any lasting attention to what would have to be a cataclysmic event seems hard to believe. This is especially true since so much information about the rapture has already been disseminated in the form of millions of books, radio or TV broadcasts, and even in the form of bumper stickers: "In Case Of Rapture This Car Will Be Unmanned."

Margaret MacDonald Who? The pre-trib rapture originator? I have visited just about every anti-rapture web site on the internet. One common point used on nearly every one of these sites to oppose the pretribulation doctrine is the claim that the rapture theory was started by a Scottish girl named Margaret MacDonald. Many critics of the rapture declare that MacDonald received her vision from demonic origins, and that she then passed on the message of that vision to infect the Church. Being a staunch pretribulationist, I'm at a loss to explain the connection between Margaret MacDonald and my beliefs in the rapture. I cannot recall ever hearing pre-trib prophetic speakers say, "I believe in the rapture because Margaret MacDonald told me so."

Preterism! I Can't Believe It Refuting the 70 AD claims. One of my key reasons for believing in the pre-tribulation rapture is the fact all other views are always trying to undermine pre-tribulationism. Up until now, the most vocal group of opponents has been the post-trib and pre-wrath folks. I'm amazed to find preterism now on the attack, gaining ground by mostly converting pre-tribbers.

In Case Of Rapture The post-rapture propagation of RR. After the rapture transpires, end-time knowledge will instantly become a very important commodity. In the post-rapture world, everyone will be either a new believer or a potential convert to the Christian faith. Finding good resource material will be no small task. At any given moment, only a few thousand copies of any book, video, or tape is available for sale to the public. Many Christian websites offer a wide variety of material, but it’s hard to imagine how they could still function with most their staff raptured away.

The Think-Not Generation Apathy as a sign of the end. The Bible predicts that someday a period of unparalleled calamity will sweep over this planet. During the time commonly known as the tribulation, the loss of life will be so great, nearly all the inhabitants of the earth will perish. You would think the bleak nature of these future events would cause people to be forever mindful of them. Sadly, only a small percentage of the population is focused on the end times.

The Last Generation Are we the last generation? Which generation of people will be living when the King of kings and Lord of lords makes his trek back to Planet Earth at the end of this age? Will the European, Asian, and Mideast leaders we see on television and read about in the newspaper every day be involved in the endtime battle called “Armageddon”?

Jesus Prophesied the Rapture The Olivet Discourse. Even among those of us who view the rapture as imminent (the pretribulational view) there remains disagreement concerning whether Jesus Himself ever prophesied of this blessed hope. The debate primarily involves the Lord’s Olivet Discourse—in particular, verses 36-51 of Matthew 24.

The Armageddon Clock What time is it? One of the most important factors in risk assessment is the ability to judged the magnitude of a given threat. A group of scientists developed a Doomsday clock to measure the peril of nuclear war. Because events of the tribulation poses an even greater danger to earth’s inhabitants, we decided to create an Armageddon Clock to provide a point of reference.

Four-Year Forecast Signals pointing to fulfillment of Bible prophecy continue to mount. The signs are in every direction on the horizon of this generation. We are convinced we must, in obedience to the commission to be good watchmen of issues and events in light of God's prophetic Word, propose scripturally sound possibilities for this last time. We will delve into likely scenarios that might play out on the stage of human history from now until the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Specifically, we will forecast the probabilities of things to come for the next four years.
