An
"Equipped to Survive" Evaluation of Firestarters, Tinder, and Stoves
The ability to start a fire is critical in most survival situations. Aside from
the practical aspects of providing heat for various survival uses, nothing is
better for your morale than a nice fire. Everyone's spirits are raised as the
fire catches and the flames leap up. The worse the weather, the more important
the fire is to survival, and conversely, the more difficult it can be to get
going.

Strike Force Fire Starter
By
Paul at Survival Primer. You should know that the Strike Force Fire Starter is basically a
high-tech, extremely durable, Flint and Steel. Flint and steel has been used for centuries, but requires that you learn how to build a
fire, from tinder to log. It is not an instant fix.
Good
Cook Can Opener By Mamabear. This is the best can opener I have
ever used! The first time I tried it, I thought it wasn’t working because it
was so smooth and silent...
